Esther D. Roach, 57, of Cherokee, passed away on January 13, 2015 following an extended illness. Esther is the daughter of the late James A. Screamer and Cornelia Mae Lossiah Rattler.

Esther is survived by her children Terrence Howard Roach of Kentucky, William Preston Roach and Kenneth Marcel Roach both of Cherokee; brother, Dennis James Rattler, Sr.; nephews, Dennis James Rattler, Jr. and Sammi Rattler; niece Brandy Savage of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Josyah, Preston, Daylon, MacKinley and Kennedy Roach all of Cherokee.

Esther is preceded in death by sisters, Norma Rattler and Woodie D. Rattler.
A visitation will be held at Waterfalls Baptist Church on January 15, 2015 from 4pm-12am(midnight). The funeral service will be held on January 16, 2015 at 1pm burial will follow the Rattler Family Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be William Roach, Joe Otter, Joe Plummer, Kenny Roach, Brandon Welch and James Plummer. Pastor Red Bradley will officiate.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Esther. Esther was my aunt and I have so many fond memories of her, she was our "fun" and "cool" aunt!! These are memories that I will cherish forever. My prayers go out to her sons, Terrance, William and Kenny in this time of sorrow. Please just lean on the Lord.

Heaven has received a beautiful lady. I loved Esther like a sister. We laughed together and we cried together. She will be greatly missed. God Bless her family.
