Lahoma Kindle, 57, of Cherokee passed away July 5, 2011 following an extended illness. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Simeon Taylor and Beulah Teesateskie Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Kindle, her son, Charles Taylor, her sister, Alyne Tooni, brothers; Harry Taylor, Earl Taylor and Mernie Taylor all of Cherokee. She is also survived by  nieces; Kitty Taylor and Carmen Davis,  nephews; Tyler Taylor, Tony Taylor and James Tooni, and great niece and nephew, Hannah and Michael Youngdeer.

The family will recieve friends at Rock Springs Baptist Church  Wednesday July 6 begining at 6 PM until 9 PM. The funeral will be held at 2 PM at the church on July 7, 2011, with burial following at the Birdtown Cemetery.

The Rev. Greg Morgan will officiate. Pall bearers will be Tyler Taylor, Albert Sleuder, Michael Youngdeer,Clint Oocumma, James Tooni, and Buff Maney.

Long House Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

We may not understanding why sad things happen, may it somehow help to know how much we care. Lahoma will be missed.

My thoughts are with the son, husband,sister and brothers during this time. Even though it has already been a few days since she has passed, the days ahead are going to be the hardest. My prayers are with them all and my happiness is with Lahoma as she is pain free roaming heaven without her cane.

Sister Lahoma is truly a proverbs 31 woman and a great mother of the church. i love her and i miss her. my condolences to Brother Kindle and to the entire family and church family. God bless you and keep you all in His love. i love you.
